Children Policies :
+ Under 2 years: Travel free
+ From 2 to under 4 years old (and shorter than 1.3m): Price will be 50% of adult price for the North - South trains and and vice versa. But for trains Hanoi - Sapa and vice versa, the children will have to pay full price like the adults!
+ Over 5 years old: 100% of adult price.
Peak Season Surcharge: 25%
+ Peak Season Calender:
- Lunar New Year (Late January to Mid-February) inclusive
- 30th April (Re-unification Day) - 03rd May (International Workers` Day) inclusive
- 29th August – 2nd September inclusive
- 21st – 31st December inclusive
Baggages :
+ Carry-on Bags: The train cabins are allowed to carry baggages not to exceed the weight limitation of 20 kgs of adults and 10 kgs of children. This baggages are wrapped neatly and reliably.

How to get to Hoi An...
Hoi An is a historic must-see town featuring on most visitor's itineraries. It's 30 km south of Danang, but has no railway station. Simply take a train to Danang, then a regular buses, minibus or taxi from Danang to Hoi An taking between 45 minutes and an hour. The bus costs about US$3, a taxi costs around US$9-15 depending on your negotiation skills.
